You might have noticed I was missing from practice most of this past week. It's because I was visiting Washington DC. Normally, I don't think much of visiting DC, since Patty and I lived there for four years. Last week was something special, though, because of the national cherry blossom festival. The cherry trees were a gift from Japan in 1912 (3000 of them). They make even the worst parts of DC look beautiful when blooming. I took hundreds of photos (really), and uploaded a few to the web site. Take a look at the photo gallery and see if you can identify all the landmarks. I'll give you extra credit for the last three photos!
See you in the pool this week!
