If you have a calendar out while looking at this, you can see that the swim meets are scheduled for the 4th Sunday of the months listed (easier for you to remember).
MORE INFORMATION
PLACE: College of St Mary, 72nd & Mercy Road
TIME: Warm-ups at 8:00am, meet starts at 9:00am (usually will finish by 11am)
FEES: $7 per meet & you can swim all of the events at each swim meet
SANCTION: Each meet will be USMS sanctioned. All participants must be current USMS members or must purchase a one-event registration. (Registration will be available.)
YOU MUST PRESENT A CURRENT USMS CARD (or a copy) TO PARTICIPATE!
RULES: Unless otherwise states, current USMS rules will govern the conduct of the meet. The meets will be run as "Fitness Events". All events will be timed, but as a Fitness Event the times will not be eligible for top 10 USMS consideration. The purpose of this series is to give folks an opportunity to compete in a swim meet setting and to give it a try. You can hone your skills for future swim meets.
HELP: My plan is to run these meets in a semi-relaxed sort of manner. I hope to have folks volunteer in advance to time at some of the meets (you can swim and time). Be prepared to have a watch thrust into your hand if you show up and we are short of timers.
