Sunrise Swimmers Have Fun

September 2006 Newsletter

Fun -- Fitness -- Friends

Hello swimmers. Since the past newsletter the program has added over six new swimmers, had a few swimmers return, and had most of the kids go back to college. Take a moment to say "hello" to a new face. Attendance has been great over the past month, and the lanes have been pretty balanced. The least attended practice is Saturday with 15-18 people per practice (and some go have breakfast afterwards). Swim suits for women. The distributor that the UNOmaha team uses is offering grab bag swim suits for $25. Grab bag means whatever color they have, then that is the color you get. It is a polyester blend, which means it will last a long time but also means it does not have a lot of stretch. Beware â?? the suits are bright and patterns are ugly. The company actually calls the suits "uglies." If you are interested then let me know and I will order one for you (it can be returned if you don't like it).

The final quarter of the year is upon us. If you have not paid, your coaching fee for October, November, and December, then it is time. As a reminder you may pay $75 per quarter or $30 per month. In two months it will be time to renew the annual membership. For the third year in a row we will not have any increases in our annual fee and no increases in our coaching fee.

Check out the website!! http://www.omahamastersswim.com Erin Sullivan is starting up a new swim series â??on the web site. Jodie McGill gave birth to a baby boy â?? his picture is on the web site. Pictures were taken at the awesome Brat Party â?? those are also posted on the web. And Hal France is in the process of getting information on his new creative project â?? soon to be posted on the web site. Hopefully Todd, Jen, and Lindsey will have pictures to post from the IronMan they completed a few weeks ago.

Finally, if you liked the holiday wreaths offered last year, we have them again this year. They are great for your holiday home or as a present (for family or staff). Let me know during the month of October how many you need and you will get them the first week of December.

- Todd
