Social Outing
Do you know any of these swimmers? Denny Chapman, Jodie McGill, Jamie Haferbier, John Hartigan, Lynn Ingraham, Terry Koopman, Mary Pat Moeller, Barb Murphy, Marty Myers, Bridgette Otto, Molly Romero, Steve Scheuber, Peter Silberstein, Erin Sullivan, Bill Tapprich, or John Wingender. These are the folks who have told Hal France they are planning to go to watch Madame Butterfly (the Opera) as part of the Masters group. If you have never seen an Opera then this is the one to see first! Hal has connections and has blocked off some premium seating for the performance on Saturday, March 25. The cost to go to the show is $53 (this is over a $30 savings) and the check must be in Hal's hands by February 21. Hal and Molly are also putting together a dinner before the Opera at Mark's Bistro. Lane Etiquette
Since we are a good size program with 3 to 6 swimmers per lane on a regular basis, it might be time to offer some lane etiquette.
- Always brush your teeth before you come to swim practice!!
- If you need to rest, then rest in the corner.
- When leaving on the interval, give the person ahead of you a 5 second lead (not three seconds and not ten seconds -- it must be FIVE).
- If you accidentally contact (hit) someone, use good manners and apologize (even if it didn't hurt you or you feel it was the other other person's fault).
- Talk with your lane mates to determine who should go first, and the first person should let the rest of the lane know when they are leaving.
- Help each other and enjoy the company of each other, you are part of an incredible group of people.
- Brush your teeth!

Out of Town
Volunteer Coaches (Supreme Dictators) are needed over the next month for the program to continue. College swim meets will be taking me away from Omaha on two occasions. The first round is February 15 to February 18. The second round is March 6 through March 11. If you would like to feel the power, then let me know which day works best for you.
Yes, we will have practice at the normal times on Valentine Day and President's Day
