Omaha Masters Swimmer Goes on Mexico Medical Mission

Greetings,
I am writing to you on behalf of a team of medical students and members of Brookside Church here in Omaha. I would like to present you with an offer to partner with us on a medical mission trip that will be going to Tlanchinol, Hidalgo, Mexico this June 19th through the 27th. Tlanchinol is a modest town with no medical providers within a large radius of the surrounding area. For many patients, our team will be the only health care they receive for an entire year or more. This is truly an opportunity for your business or establishment to make an impact on the lives of our needy neighbors.

This mission is already being funded in two ways. First, the Mexican government will be providing for our room and board as a sign of appreciation for the medical services we provide. Second, the University of Nebraska Medical Center is providing $5000 to $6000 through a student education fund. That funding will be sufficient for our transportation needs. That leaves us in need of another $5000 to $6000 to cover the cost of medication.
The final portion of financing is the area with which you could assist us. I am not asking for any specific sum, but for any amount in which you feel comfortable. If we are fortunate to have you join with us in providing much needed health care to the citizens of Tlanchinol, you may deduct your donation from your income taxes. Simply make checks payable to Brookside Church while writing Mexico Mission on the memo line. You can send the checks to me or the Brookside Church with my name attached.
